LG Nexus 4 - The Next Nexus Phone, Release Date, Price, Specifications
The official specs include a 4.7 inch True HD IPS Plus Display with LG's new Gorilla Glass 2, a Quadcore Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 8 Megapixel rear camera, 2 Megapixel front camera, 2100 mah battery, along with the latest Android 4.2 Operating System(also named as Jelly Bean), which means the phone will give the snappiest performance in any nexus device yet.
Although being manufactured by LG the look of the phone isn't that different from the previous nexus phone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The phone will support wireless charging, and also has the new Gorilla Glass 2 display which is great. It has a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, the extra pixels in the bottom being used by the soft touch keys so the actual usable resolution of the screen will be the ideal 720p resolution.
The 8MP camera is great compared to the mediocre 5MP camera on the Galaxy Nexus and has some new features including the new PhotoSphere camera which is 360° Panorama. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be any support for microSD cards and also the phone has no LTE, which may dissapoint some users.
But overall the phone looks very promising and it would be interesting to see how it performs upon its launch.
